About this technology

What we deliver, and how

A Digital Terrain Model strips away vegetation, buildings, and other surface clutter from the elevation data, leaving only the bare-earth ground surface. Trishunya produces DTMs by ground-filtering photogrammetric or LiDAR point clouds — classifying and removing non-ground returns so what remains is the true terrain beneath tree canopy and structures.

This bare-earth accuracy matters most where the ground itself is the design constraint: transmission line sag calculations depend on knowing true ground clearance beneath the conductor, highway and railway alignment design needs a clean longitudinal profile, and solar site layouts need accurate slope data without vegetation skewing the numbers. DTMs are also the standard input for contour generation.
